JVC launches new 600 series cameras
JVC Professional Video has introduced two upgraded models in its 600 Series of ProHD mobile news camcorders, including the GY-HM660, the industry's first streaming camcorder with an integrated IFB return audio channel. Both feature new CMOS image sensors for greater sensitivity and a brighter LCD display for improved daylight viewing.

The new GY-HM660 is JVC's latest and most advanced handheld mobile news camera. It allows reporters in the field to monitor the studio through IFB while streaming live HD reports. SMPTE 2022 forward error correction for increased stream reliability has also been added along with a host of other outstanding features that make it perfect for fast-paced ENG.

GY-HM620 versatile, handheld mobile news camera
Based on the popular GY-HM600, the new GY-HM620 features upgraded CMOS devices for greater sensitivity and a brighter LCD display for outdoor daylight viewing. With its long list of professional features and controls, there's no better camera for fast-paced HD field production.

BREAKING NEWS -- Raycom Media standardizes on the new GY-HM660.
(April 18, 2016) — Television station group Raycom Media has committed to the new GY-HM660 ProHD mobile news camera as its primary ENG camera over the next three years, with an initial order of 125 cameras. Raycom Media began purchasing JVC cameras for local ENG in 2013, and standardized on JVC in late 2014.

JVC announces new fiber system
At NAB, JVC introduced a new fiber studio system with video-over-IP functionality based on its GY-HM890 ProHD camera. Built exclusively for JVC by MultiDyne Video & Fiber-Optic Systems, a module connects directly to the back of the camera via 68-pin interface and transports multiple bi-directional 3G-SDI signals as well as control, audio, sync, and intercom between the camera and the FS-900 Base Station. A single base station supports up to 3 cameras, making this the most affordable, high performance fiber system available.

JVC introduces robotic PTZ streaming video production camera
JVC's first robotic PTZ streaming video camera, the KY-PZ100, is ideal for studio or field applications. When connected to a Wi-Fi adapter or LTE modem via USB (or directly connected to a LAN), its IP-based communications engine streams up to 1080p/60 video with two-channel audio using SMPTE 2022 error correction. It can be used as a standalone remote camera, part of a multi-camera production, or conventional PTZ camera controlled through a Web browser, remote unit that supports standard protocol, or the new JVC RM-IP100 remote control panel.

Sports production update for GY-HM200SP!
Excitement surrounds the popular GY-HM200SP sports production camera. The innovative camera known for producing professional quality coverage of sports events with score overlays now offers a new firmware upgrade plus Windows and Mac software that support adding custom team logos. The firmware and SDP applications are now available for no charge to current customers on the JVC website.

scoreboard data to GY-HM200SP!

ge news for current and future GY-HM200SP owners -- scores can now be automatically registered using Sportzcast ScoreBOT! Using its Scorebot hardware, which is integrated with the scoreboard at the venue, Sportzcast receives the score data, processes it, and transfers it in real time directly to the JVC GY-HM200SP.

JVC unveils 3 new broadcast studio monitors!
Available in affordable 17-inch, 21-inch, and 24-inch sizes, new DT-N monitors support up to 3G-SDI (SMPTE 425M) including Level-A and Level-B, which are capable of transferring 1080p uncompressed digital video data at a max rate of 60fps at 3Gbit/s. 2K-SDI (2048x1080p) is also supported to downsample to full HD display. Each monitor features a full HD LCD panel with LED backlighting, is compatible with ITU-709 color space, supports gamma preset selections and TSL UMD control among many other great features.
