- These buttons are used to set both the time code generator and the
menu switches. The labels above the buttons indicate the time code-related
functions while those beneath the buttons indicate menu switch functions.
- Time Code Generator Setting.
- [HOLD] button
Press this button to preset data in the time code generator. Time
code is preset with the COUNTER switch set at TC and user bits with
the COUNTER switch at UB. This button is effective only when
the INT/EXT switch on the time code setting section is set to INT
and the PRESET/REGEN switch to PRESET.
- [SET] button
Press this button to load the presetted code generator. Presetting
is complete and the counter displays the counter data being read.
- Menu Switch Setting.
- [MENU] button
Press this button to enter the Menu Switch Setting mode. Press this
button again to switch the Menu Switch Setting mode back to the
Counter Display mode.
- [SET] button
Press this button to store menu switch setting data in the VTR's
memory.
- [SELECT] button
Press this button to select the menu switch setting data.
