JVC DVD LIBRARIES SUPPORTED BY SENCOR SOFTWARE FOR MEDICAL ARCHIVAL
JVC Libraries Being Demonstrated at Radiological Society of North America's 87th Scientific Assembly

WAYNE, NJ (November 25, 2001) - JVC DIGITAL STORAGE SYSTEMS, a division of JVC Professional Products Company, today announced support for their full line of the DVD/CD MC-8000 Series automated libraries by the Software Engineering Corporation - SENCOR's medical storage software - SENCOR Medical Archive (SMA).

JVC's MC-8000 Series Libraries use Industry Standard, Removable Media, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM and DVD-R Drives. These Libraries are scalable from 65GB to 5.6-Terabytes.They utilize a high-speed disc changer, flip mechanism (for double-sided media), can accommodate multiple types of drives and media up to 9.4GB and offer an optional Disc printer.

With the introduction of DVD-R in the JVC MC-8000 Libraries, JVC DIGITAL STORAGE SYSTEMS can provide customers with 5.6 Terabytes of "Write-Once" storage.

The MC-8000 storage library systems are capable of various common applications including document imaging, video content archives, security video storage, next generation backup systems, and high-capacity image storage for medical devices such as MRI.

SMA software makes integrating the JVC MC-8000 series Library into existing DICOM 3 networks easy.

The JVC DVD Library system supported by SENCOR's medical storage software is currently demonstrating at Booth #2176 at the Radiological Society of North America's 87th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting (RSNA) in McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois.
