New Digital Video Camera & Netbriefings Web-based Software Offer Four
Easy Steps to Stream and Shoot

WAYNE, NJ and ST. PAUL, MN - (February 4, 2002) - JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY and Netbriefings, a corporate Webcasting Solutions company based in St. Paul, Minnesota, today announced the formation of a marketing and streaming-media Web hosting strategic alliance. Coinciding with the release of JVC's new GY-DV300 digital video camera, the companies will jointly market streaming-media services to JVC customers and professional videographers.

Netbriefings new services, developed specifically for JVC GY-DV300 users, include an automated Web site that will allow users to set up live and archived streaming-media events unassisted. Support for the new service will be provided on-line by Netbriefings. The JVC GY-DV300, in conjunction with JVC's Streaming Producer software, enables videographers to use the Netbriefings/JVC Web site to stream video live, directly from the camera, or on-demand, by storing the video stream in a Netbriefings archive.

Initially, the automated assistance for GY-DV300 users will include streaming audio and video only, but additional services, such as inclusion of synchronized PowerPoint slides and Web hosting, will be provided for users who need the services.

"JVC's partnership with Netbriefings will accommodate DV300 end-users with real-time customer service via the Internet," said Robert Mueller, executive vice president of JVC.
