JVC DVD Libraries Being Demonstrated with Crispin Corporation Booth

Las Vegas, NV (NAB Convention) April 8, 2002 - JVC DIGITAL STORAGE SYSTEMS, a division of JVC Professional Products Company, today announced support for their full line of the DVD MC-8000 Series automated libraries by Crispin Corporation.
Crispin Corporation, a leader in asset automation and playback, provides end-to-end solutions for cataloging, storage and retrieval of real-time video content. With over 250 installations, Crispin is one of the leaders in video asset and content management. Their client list spans the professional broadcast, entertainment and Fortune 500 community. Crispin's product suite is compatible with the industry leading Video Server companies. With the addition of JVC DVD libraries, the professional video editor can now manage and archive content to DVD media for long-term storage, and retrieve for playback and editing.
JVC's MC-8000 Series Libraries feature industry standard, removable media, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM and DVD-R Drives. These libraries are scalable from 65GB to 5.6-Terabytes. They utilize a high-speed disc changer and flip mechanism (for double-sided media), can accommodate multiple types of drives and media up to 9.4GB and offer an optional disc printer.
