JVC AND 3DV SYSTEMS TO ATTEND NAB 2002 TOGETHER

ZCam Marketing Agreement to Continue at NAB 2002

FOR RELEASE: APRIL 8, 2002

WAYNE, NJ (April 8, 2002) - JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY today announced that Santa Clara-based 3DV Systems will exhibiting its ZCam™ at the JVC Professional booth at NAB 2002, Booth L9729, April 8-11, Las Vegas, NV.

As a result of the marketing agreement between JVC Professional and 3DV Systems, JVC has decided to include a section dedicated to featuring 3DV Systems' ZCam. The ZCam, a real-time depth-sensing camera, enables studio and professional broadcast cameras to capture an additional dimension (depth). This allows producers the ability to perform keying without the need for a blue screen background. It also enables the integration of three-dimensional effects in real-time. Since the launch of the ZCam last year, 3DV Systems has enhanced the camera to provide better signals, ease-of-use, enhanced reliability, superior quality and improved color.

When the ZCam is attached to a JVC three chip broadcast camera, the camera offers the ability to place graphics anywhere in a frame, whether in front or behind a subject in real-time without the limitations of bluescreen technology.

"The strategic alliance between JVC and 3DV Systems has proven beneficial to both companies," said Larry Librach, assistant vice president of business development for JVC. "We are delighted with the past results and look forward to working closely with 3DV in the future."

Ori Braun, president of 3DV Systems Inc., stated, "We are pleased to be working with JVC for a second year. With the success of last year, we see the continual growth of JVC and are grateful to be working with a company we believe so strongly in."

Aside from the ZCam, JVC Professional will host various new products at the NAB booth. In particular, JVC will feature a new hand-held camera, the GY-DV300 Streamcorder. With the attachment of the KA-DV300 adapter, the Streamcorder can record to tape while simultaneously streaming live to the Internet, using a standard Web browser. Also being featured is the DLA-G150CL projector, specifically for screening room, production, post-production environments and upscale home theaters. This CineLine projector displays images that are as close to film as possible for critical screening applications.
