LAS VEGAS, NV (April 19, 2004) – JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY today announced that MainConcept has joined the growing list of companies creating products that support JVC’s revolutionary JY-HD10U camera, the world’s first professional hand-held camcorder with full high definition (HD) recording capabilities. MainConcept has developed and released the MPEG Pro plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro giving users the ability to easily transfer MPEG video content onto a computer, edit it and export in a variety of formats.

 A company renowned for developing extremely high quality codecs, MainConcept’s MPEG Pro plug-in adds native MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 editing to Adobe Premiere Pro. The optional HD version adds native high definition video (HDV) editing, including the ability to capture directly from JVC’s JY-HD10U camcorder into Premiere Pro.
