INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 8, 2005) – JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY partners with SENSIO, maker of S3D-100 stereoscopic video processor, to showcase JVC’s DLA-HD2K equipped with SENSIO’s new S3D-PRO high-definition (HD) stereoscopic video processor at CEDIA 2005, scheduled to take place September 8–11 in Indianapolis, Indiana. This HD 3D theater will be on display at the JVC suite in the Illinois Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza.

The 3D theater will exhibit two DLA-HD2K projectors with SENSIO’s S3D-PRO featuring Spy Kids 3D – Game Over,” “Bugs, A Rainforest Adventure,” and “The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl”.

JVC’s 3-chip DLA-HD2K projector features its patented Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier (D-ILA™) technology that delivers high-resolution images that reproduce the smooth look of film. Its native resolution of 1920 x 1080 makes the DLA-HD2K ideally suited for HD viewing in museums and 3D post-production screening rooms as well as for home theater applications.

SENSIO’s next generation 3D processor, used in conjunction with a conventional HD player, processes encoded 3D material into stereoscopic format to match all display devices, a patent-pending feature unique to SENSIO. This technology allows users to store and playback movies in 3D.
