24P High Definition Editing Now Possible with Adobe Premiere Using Cineform ASPECT HD
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 18, 2005) – JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY and CineForm™ continue to work together to deliver affordable high-definition editing products compatible with JVC’s ProHD camcorder, the GY-HD100U. At NAB, Adobe will demonstrate CineForm’s unreleased version of Aspect HD™ with 24p support for the GY-HD100U.
Built from portions of CineForm Intermediate™ HD technologies, the Adobe "HDV™ plug-in" offers native editing support for all Adobe Premiere Pro users with HDV™ camcorders or footage. Aspect HD version 3.0 triples the timeline editing performance of Adobe Premiere Pro by offering real-time editing of multiple HDV™ streams on today’s fast PC’s. In addition, Aspect HD offers unsurpassed video quality and real-time performance throughout post-production.

Aspect HD version 3.0 has the ability to capture (including batch capture) from HDV™ camcorders directly from the Adobe Premiere Pro capture interface and export a finished timeline back to the camcorders.
HD content can be captured directly from the GY-HD100U, edited in real time, and output in a variety of high definition and standard definition (SD) formats. Aspect HD offers faster encoder speed, which improves efficiencies in the capture process. In addition to full capture and editing support for JVC’s new ProHD 24p GY-HD100U, Aspect HD also supports JVC’s JY-HD10U hand-held HD camera and CU-VH1 high-definition video recorder.
Aspect HD is popular among editors because of its unmatched editing performance, visual quality and ability to edit three to four streams on a Premiere Pro timeline without dropping a frame. JVC users can affordably employ either of CineForm’s Aspect HD or Connect HD high-performance editing solutions for their HD post-production applications.
