San Diego, CA (September 25, 2006) -- JVC Professional Products Company today announced that it is offering two package surveillance systems that include JVC's fixed high-resolution IP network camera, the VN-C20U, with choice of Vari-Focal Lens and is assembled into a weatherproof housing.

The VN-C20U IP network camera provides a high-speed frame rate of up to 30fps motion-JPEG images at VGA or QVGA resolution and comes with built-in web server and motion detection.

"JVC's pre-wired and pre-adjusted IP Ready Paks significantly reduce installation time and are pre-wired for PoE applications," said Steve Martin, assistant vice president, security division, JVC Professional Products Company.

The HMVNC20-550 and HMVNC20-212 Ready Pak surveillance systems include a wall mount bracket and are pre-wired for easy installation. The HMVNC20-550 is equipped with a 5 mm–12 mm lens and the HMVNC20-212 is equipped with a 2.5 mm-12 mm lens. Both JVC Ready Pak's are pre-wired and installed into an IP66/NEMA standard weatherproof housing with sunshield and wall mount.

Both Ready Pak's also include a heater and blower to ensure the camera is maintained at a proper temperature. The camera's power consumption averages 3A @ 24VAC.
