	JVC Professional Products Company expands its V.Networks lineup with
	the introduction of its new outdoor, IP66 rated vandal-proof IP
	surveillance camera, the VN-V686WPU. The VN-V686WPU features a 36x
	optical zoom lens with a direct drive mechanism that provides fast
	and accurate PTZ functionality.  The VN-V686WPU optical zoom
	capability is complemented by an image stabilizer for clear
	visibility even with tight shots. 
	
 
  
	 
  - The VN-V686WPU high-resolution camera
	features ¼-inch CCDs with 380,000 effective pixels and full
	motion dual stream JPEG and MPEG4.  With true day and night
	operation, the camera includes an IR cut-off filter removal function
	and is enclosed in an IP66 vandal and weather proof housing with
	built-in fan and heater.

  - The VN-V686WPU’s motion detection and
	silent direct drive motor provides fast and accurate pan/tilt motion
	with auto tracking and image stabilizer.  The camera’s high
	quality 36x optical zoom lens provides clear details and is
	controlled remotely via a network interface, with up to 100 camera
	presets. The presets can be activated by the auto-patrol feature, or
	by an alarm or motion trigger.

  - With 360-degree endless rotation capability,
	the VN-V686WPU quickly delivers images from any direction up to 30
	fps (640 x 480) and the active gamma function provides
	wide-dynamic range.

  - Additional features include dual API support
	for JVC protocol and Verint VSIP, AC24V power, standard 10/100BaseT
	interface for connection to a LAN, WAN or to the Internet.  The
	VN-V686WPU may be combined with JVC's VR-N900U or VR-N1600U network
	video recorders to provide an all-JVC digital IP security solution
	for small to enterprise level security systems.
