the
introduction of the high definition DLA-RS1X projector, positioned to
bring

found only
in JVC's professional Reference Series line.

The DLA-RS1X
projector delivers 15,000:1
native contrast ratio, which is achieved through JVC’s
proprietary 0.7-inch
1080p D-ILA devices and optical engine.
It reproduces real black and ensures that details and
depth in dark
scenes are expressed clearly and vividly.
New in the RS1X, JVC has added a comprehensive on-screen
menu to control
gamma and gray scale settings.
“Professional
installers will now be able to offer discriminating home theater
enthusiasts
more customization and input flexibility than previously
available,” said Carl
Mandelbaum, National Marketing Manager, Display Products, JVC
Professional
Products Company. “Never
before has a
manufacturer been able to offer this level of quality and installation
flexibility at such an affordable price.”
As with all JVC
Reference Series projectors,
the DLA-RS1X encompasses JVC’s original 3-chip
1080p D-ILA (Direct
Drive Image Light Amplifier) technology to
produce clear, natural images without the “rainbow
effect” found in single
panel projectors. In
addition, the
projector features a high-performance Gennum processor incorporating
four VXP™ technologies to enhance image
quality and ensure
high-quality picture reproduction.
Also upgraded
are the DLA-RS1X's two HDMI
inputs —now with version 1.3 specification connectivity. The 2x manual zoom lens
has a range of 1.4 -
2.8:1, making it suitable for screens 60” to 200”
inches wide in a typical home
theater. Additionally, this projector can be used in a
variety of room
environments due to its adjustable 80% vertical and 34% horizontal
shift
lens. The projector
is finished in a
sleek black cabinet with a non-reflective front panel to eliminate
light
reflections onto the projection screen.
It features front
ventilation for wider installation flexibility.
