JVC INTRODUCES GM-F SERIES LINE OF
PROFESSIONAL FULL HD LCD DISPLAYS

Las Vegas, NV (April 20, 2009) — JVC combines intelligent technology with functionality with the introduction of the new GM-F series LCD HD displays. With full HD 1920x1080 pixel resolution, enhanced motion sensor technology, brilliant contrast ratio, ultra-slim front bezel of 15mm (17mm on the 52” model)  JVC’s new GM-F series is ideal for professional applications where reliability, robustness and high image quality is imperative.

The three new models from JVC, the GM-F420S, GM-F470S, and GM-F520S, will have broad appeal for security and control room applications, for digital signage solutions in the retail and hotel industries, for public exhibition in schools and museums, as well as bulletin board and broadcast viewing situations.

Each model in the GM-F series is a full industrial professional display suited for round-the-clock, 24/7 operation with a special high brightness (700 cdČ) LCD panel for long term application and portrait mode mountings. The displays have an MTBF rating of greater than 50,000 hours.

For an impressive multi-screen impact using the tiled option, the GM-F series can support up to 5x5 displays with video analog (with loop through) or DVI input. An external DVI distributor is suggested to achieve best DVI results. All models in the series also support Picture in Picture (PiP) and Picture by Picture (PbP) functions. JVC’s Full HD technology and extremely high contrast guarantee sharp images and excellent readability from all viewing angles.

The GM-F series also comes with a built in infrared human sensor detector capable of detecting at distance of 5 meters, and at angles of 100 degrees horizontal and 90 degrees vertical. The sensor is also capable of detecting difference in temperature to as little as 4°C between a target and its surroundings, and keeps detecting until a person stops moving or leaves the area. The sensor can also be used to control volume level, input select, main and sub-picture swap, backlight and power features.

The new GM-F series displays also has an IR remote controller with ID programming, which allows the user to control different displays with a single IR-controller. RS232/485 and LAN control functions allow for off-site control and monitoring via network PC, and IR/RS-485/Make and Trigger professional connectivity is also available for monitor walls, which also includes E-mail function in case of trouble or temperature control in case of difficult installations. Each display has an integrated web interface so no additional software is necessary— a browser is all that is required.
