JVC INTRODUCES LARGE-SCREEN GM-F SERIES
HD LCD MONITORS TO SECURITY MARKET

Designed for 24/7 Operation, Flat Panels Deliver Full 1920x1080 HD Resolution

WAYNE, NEW JERSEY (March 24, 2010) – JVC Professional Products, a division of JVC U.S.A., will introduce its new GM-F Series of HD LCD monitors at ISC West 2010 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, March 24-26 (Booth 10034). Designed for 24/7 operation, the GM-F Series delivers native full 1920x1080 HD resolution and can be stacked in configurations up to 5x5 for multi-camera command and control operations.

Available in 42-inch (GM-F420S), 47-inch (GM-F470S), and 52-inch (GM-F520S) models, GM-F Series monitors offer a 16:9 aspect ratio and up to a 178-degree viewing angle. Housed in sturdy, lightweight aluminium cabinets, the new monitors are ideal for command and control, as well as digital signage and point-of-sale applications. An ultra-thin bezel (15mm on the GM-F420S and GM-F470S, 17mm on the GM-F520S) also makes the GM-F Series effective for multi-screen displays and videowall applications.

The GM-F series features a unique infrared motion sensor capable of detecting movement at distance of 16.4 feet. and will remain activated until the motion stops. The sensor can also be used to turn the monitor on/off, control volume level, select inputs, main and sub-picture swap, and control backlight for power conservation.

With panel brightness at 700 cd/m² and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio (2,000:1 on the GM0F520S), images are highly visible even under outdoor ambient light. Multiple mounting points provide flexible installation, and GM-F Series monitors can be mounted in portrait mode.

The GM-F Series supports a variety of signal formats provides a variety of I/O options, including BNC video in and out, RGB in and out, DVI-D in. There is a rear space on each monitor for integrating a system unit, such as a set-top box. In addition, the monitors include RS-232C, RS-485, and LAN connectivity for external control, as well as off-site monitoring via network PC.
