JVC TO SHOWCASE PROHD CAMCORDER LINE IN PARK CITY, UT

 

WAYNE, NJ (January 19, 2010)JVC Professional Products, a division of JVC U.S.A., announced today that it will showcase select models from its ProHD line of camcorders, plus its new 3D LCD display, from Friday, Jan. 22, through Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the New York Lounge in Park City, Utah.

A co-sponsor of the New York Lounge, JVC will demonstrate a GY-HM700 camcorder outfitted with Zacuto accessories and a JVC HZ-CA13U PL Mount Film Lens Adapter, plus its popular GY-HM100 handheld camcorder. JVC will also showcase a number of monitors, including the GD-463D10U 3D display, as well as the SR-HD1500US Blu-Ray Disc and HDD Recorder combo deck.

On Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m., JVC will present “JVC ProHD – 3D, Blu-Ray, Tapeless HD Recording – Today’s Technology for Tomorrow’s Vision” at the New York Lounge. During the one-hour seminar, Craig Yanagi, manager, marketing and brand strategy, will highlight JVC’s latest professional video products, and staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide hands-on demonstrations.  

“With our affordable yet feature-rich line of ProHD camcorders, JVC continues to gain interest from institutions with filmmaking curriculum, independents, and mainstream productions,” said Yanagi. “Our camcorders deliver a strong combination of excellent image quality and workflow benefits. Both the GY-HM700 and the GY-HM100 use economical SDHC cards for recording, and offer both XDCAM EX platform recording in its standard file structure and native file recording for editing on Apple Final Cut Pro systems.”
