JVC ADDS DT-V24G11Z TO ‘G SERIES’ BROADCAST MONITOR LINEUP

WAYNE, NJ (April 11, 2011) – JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., has announced the DT-V24G11Z 24-inch LCD monitor, the newest addition to its Vérité “G Series” of professional LCD monitors. With 10-bit 1080p processing and less than one frame of latency, the DT-V24G11Z delivers outstanding picture quality that is ideal for critical image evaluation in studios, mobile production units, and post facilities.

The DT-V24G11Z features a 3G/dual-link HD/SD-SDI input for monitoring of 1080p/60 signals, plus component and composite inputs to accommodate legacy equipment and an DVI-D input for Blu-ray playback. A new native 1920x1200 LCD panel offers a 178-degree viewing angle with minimal color change from different angles. The DT-V24G11Z provides 1:1 monitoring of 1920x1080 signals while providing metering and status above or below the active picture area, and a menu setting allows 4:3 images to use the full 1,200 vertical pixel screen area for larger SD display.

Additional features include a built-in digital closed captioning decoder, high-resolution waveform monitor with adjustable over-level function, vectorscope, versatile audio monitoring, and on-screen display of embedded time code. The DT-V24G11Z also features traditional rotary knobs for sound and picture control, plus built-in stereo speakers, a durable metal chassis, and a rugged, adjustable stand.
