FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JVC
INTRODUCES PROHD COMMAND CENTER FOR WAYNE, NJ (Oct. 17, 2017) – JVC Professional Video, a division of JVCKENWOOD USA Corporation, will introduce the ProHD Command Center, a server-based monitoring station for GPS-enabled resources, at NAB Show New York (Booth N433), which runs Oct. 18-19 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The Command Center makes it easy to monitor and track all JVC ProHD Bridge units and IP-enabled cameras in the field. Originally presented as a technology demonstration at the 2017 NAB Show, the Command Center provides a full screen, real-time map of all GPS-enabled resources, including live video feeds, and allows operators to monitor signal strength, S/N ratio, error correction status, and more. With one-click routing, the Command Center sends live images to master control or multiple locations around the world, including websites and social media platforms. The secure internet connection allows the user to add metadata to any field camera recording, and provides an optional interface with newsroom systems. The Command Center also provides control of individual cameras. Users can adjust detailed parameters for handheld and shoulder-mount models, and have full control of JVC’s KY-PZ100 PTZ cameras in the field. IFB control and monitoring also lets the user communicate with any camera operator. “For broadcasters, the ProHD Command Center makes it easy to keep track of all your assets in the field in real time. You can see where they are and track where they’ve been,” said Joe D’Amico, vice president, Broadcast Division, JVC Professional Video. “There’s never been a tool that provides this much information and control over all your IP assets.” The ProHD Command Center will be available in January 2018.
