Launches Completely Wireless Sport Headphones LAS VEGAS, January 9, 2018 – Fitness fanatics and runners now have fully wireless headphones designed just for them with the introduction today of a new JVC sport model. The new JVC HA-ET90BT headphones offer water resistance and a comfortable, secure fit so they’ll stay in place during even the most rigorous workout. JVC’s new headphones were designed with input from athletes, so as a result meet their needs for totally wireless headphones that are durable, weather resistant and most importantly stay comfortably in place during a heavy workout. And with water resistance rating of IPX5 there’s no need to curtail a run when the weather turns wet. The secure fit comes from a three-point support structure: (1) JVC’s Pivot Motion Fit, a soft rubber fin at the top of each earpiece that rotates to adjust to the shape of the user’s ear to provide a locked-in, stable fit; (2) an oval bulge on the back of the housing supports the earpiece; and (3) the housing’s vertical shape conforms to the shape of the ear for additional support. Two types of earpieces in three sizes are provided – conventional and “open” type, which allow ambient sounds to be heard for safety when running outdoors. There’s a built in microphone in the left earpiece and a multifunction button for controlling music playback. The headphones come with a lightweight charging case that when fully charged can recharge the headsets to 100 percent two times. A full charge provides three hours of listening, or a total of six hours from a fully charged case. Also included is a soft carrying pouch with a belt clip for conveniently carrying the two earpieces. A companion app – the JVC Headphones Manager – includes a 10-step battery level indicator so it’s easy to see how much charge remains; a sound mode selector that provides three sound profiles – flat; bass, for enhancing bass frequencies; and clear, which enhances the mid/high frequencies – and a “find” function for locating the two earpieces – either both or one – by prompting them to sound an audible alert and flash an LED. The JVC HA-ET90BT fully wireless headphones will be available in March for $149.95.
