FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FSEMC 2018: NEW JVC DLA-VS3000
4K PROJECTOR DELIVERS HIGH CONTRAST, LOW OPERATING COSTS FOR
SIMULATION MARKET
- WAYNE, NJ (Sept. 12,
2018) –
JVC
Visual Systems,
a division of JVCKENWOOD USA
Corporation, will launch its latest Visualization Series projector,
the DLA-VS3000, at the 2018 Flight Simulator Engineering and
Maintenance Conference (FSEMC), which runs Sept. 17-20 at the Omni
Mandalay Hotel in Irving, Texas. Designed for the demands of the
simulation
environment, the new model features native 4K resolution and the
third generation of JVC’s BLU-Escent laser/phosphor illumination
technology.
-
- The DLA VS3000’s three native 4K
(4096x2160) D-ILA
imagers deliver 10-bit imagery with industry-leading 15,000:1 native
contrast ratio, which is essential for nighttime simulator training.
The projector offers 60/120Hz refresh as well as digital smear
reduction with black frame insertion for smooth motion, and includes
two 1.2a DisplayPort interfaces. JVC also offers a range of high MTF
fixed and zoom lenses for various throw ratio requirements.
- BLU-Escent technology offers an
environmentally friendly alternative to traditional lamp-based
illumination and allows flexible mounting orientations. Ideal for
the simulation market, the DLA VS3000 delivers 2,000 ANSI
lumens and has an estimated life of 21,000 30,000 hours. The
DLA-VS3000 has a built-in internal Auto Intensity/Auto Color system
that maintains the brightness and color setup over long period of
time, which will greatly reduce routine maintenance compared to
older display technology.
-
- “FSEMC
attracts hundreds of flight simulator experts from around the world,
and we are looking forward to showcasing our latest Visualization
Series projector at the conference,” said Ian Scott, vice
president, Visual Systems Division, JVCKENWOOD USA Corp. “Our
engineers continue to improve the performance and efficiency of JVC
projectors to meet and exceed the simulation market requirements,
and you can see the results in the DLA-VS3000. Simulator operators
will appreciate its long life, reduced maintenance, and low
operating costs.”
-
- The DLA-VS3000
will be available in early 2019.
