In January of 2002, JVC initiated testing with our strategic partner LaserPacific Media Corporation and several Hollywood studios of our new HD delivery system using modified consumer D-VHS machines. JVC's technology is having a major impact in the motion picture industry, contributing to streamlined modern motion picture methods. This is particularly true within the application of digital dailies and digital previews. There is a meaningful cost savings to studios by digitally streamlining the dailies and preview process.
