LX-D1020 1300 Lumen Projector

Presenters are looking for bright and sharp quality display, and the LX-D1020 delivers it in impressive style. 1300 ANSI lumens mean that the presenter can present in normally-lit rooms, and not have to turn the lights off or down. The picture is not only bright, but it is also crisp and clean. With 85% uniformity and XGA resolution, the LX-D1020 allows edge-to-edge maintenance of picture quality without sacrificing the clarity of text or image on the fringe.

The three-panel LX-D1020 is a compact and lightweight (13 lbs.) unit that is easy to setup. With a native XGA LCD panel and the ability to scan from 15 kHz up to an impressive 107 kHz, it

perfectly interfaces with virtually all video and computer platforms including SXGA (compressed). With a 1.3 X optical zoom, it is suitable for screens measuring as small as 23 inches diagonal to screens as large as 300 inches.

The ultra-compact and lightweight LX-D1010 projector delivers many of the convenience and performance features of the LX-D1020, weighing in at an extremely light 7.0 pounds (3.18-kg). So portable that it can be moved from one conference to another, between classrooms, or even fly it with you to other countries (with a universal power supply) with ease. Its horizontal scan rate is an impressive 15 kHz up to 92 kHz, offering native XGA resolution, but capable of displaying VGA, SVGA, SXGA (compressed) and Mac signals with impressive 85% uniformity.

Both the LX-D1020 & LX-D1010 offer a number of convenient features to meet the demanding needs of today’s presenter. An "on screen highlighter" tool in the wireless remote control lets the presenter emphasize important points in a variety of ways (LX-D1020 only). The wireless remote is also equipped to function as an "air mouse" and has a built-in laser pointer, bringing incredible flexibility – including the option to move around the room – to the presenter. Other features include Picture-in-Picture Digital Zoom and Digital Keystone correction, all of which help presenters make effective presentations without a hassle. In addition, the LX-D1020 has a built in "user logo display" function, which can insert a translucent image of the user’s logo within a presentation, similar to those displayed on network television broadcasts.

For presenting video, both the LX-D1020 and the LX-D1010 projectors accept all of the world's standard TV signals, including NTSC, PAL or SECAM, and in either Composite, Component or S-Video inputs.

Both of these impressive new ultra-compact LCD projector units have the latest 0.9" TFT LCD panels, with a microlens to deliver true color and fine detail. JVC’s two new LCD projectors are?

powered by a short arc long-life (1500 hrs. for LX-D1020/2000 hrs. for LX-D1010) mercury lamp. To keep track of the presentation hours, both units incorporate a lamp usage monitor that displays

the logged hours. For added peace of mind, the projectors also features an automatic "lamp sleep" function built in for safety and energy conservation measures. This feature automatically shuts off the projector lamp in the absence of any signal for 30 minutes. The lamp is readily available, and easily replaceable by the end user.

"These two new high-performance portable LCD projectors further expand JVC's market position and reputation as a leader in providing world-class projectors and presentation products to the marketplace," noted Masashi Nakamura, Marketing Manager for JVC’s Visual Systems Division.
