A native of Los Angeles, Wayne Calvin Byrd II
graduated from UC Santa Barbara where he hailed as the most controversial
student body president to ever be elected. Currently a Master of
Fine Arts in Film Directing candidate at UCLA, Byrd's insistence
on using his influence to forefront important social issues has
carried over into his more recent role as filmmaker. His latest
documentary, "A Night At The Marina," intimately explores
the topic of the dehumanizing effects of police misconduct. |

courtroom drama/comedy, a Rashomon of Court TV. It focuses on human
