Loaded with professional features, this versatile multimedia presenter features high- resolution XGA images and 3-picture memory, along with USB and RS-232C interfaces. JVC's AV-P950 presenter offers powerful performance and versatility in a plug-and-play package that's perfect for classrooms, lecture halls, courtrooms, scientific presentations, product demonstrations, and more.

Producing high-resolution XGA images of 1024 x 768 pixels, the AV-P950 can also be connected to a projector or a monitor with SVGA or VGA resolution for additional flexibility. Utilizing JVC's advanced imaging technologies, the AV-P950 delivers clear images with no black blur or flickering, making fine texts easy to read, even down to 10 points. Additionally, a high-contrast character mode (text mode) is available for even greater legibility.

The USB interface allows you to transfer images to a PC for processing. Processed images can then be easily projected on a screen or displayed on a monitor via the AV-P950, allowing you to customize your presentation for different situations. In addition, any image shown on the presenter can be downloaded via the USB interface for future projection, or for use in other applications. In effect, the AV-P950 can act as a 3-D scanner. The built-in RS-232C interface allows for versatile, computerized control and added flexibility.

The AV-P950 offers a wide variety of useful features to presenters. It has a memory that can store up to 3 different images, which then can be displayed simultaneously side-by-side with another image captured in real time. When combined with the 5x power zoom, the 4x digital zoom provides magnification up to 20x, making it possible to present a wide range of different-sized material. Zoom presets from A4 to A5 size can be accessed by one touch of a button. Pressing the AUTO button automatically focuses on the subject for smooth, quick transitions.

By using the preview mode you can adjust, zoom and focus before outputting the picture onto the main screen. This ensures a more professional, smart and smooth presentation because it eliminates distractions that could be caused by changing presentation items or making screen adjustments. JVC's freeze function is a great way for presenters to keep the show running smoothly by eliminating awkward transitions. The freeze button allows the user to keep the most recent picture on the screen while they set up their next image. You can also use your PC or the AV-P950's wireless remote control unit to operate the unit, enabling you to make your presentation smoother and more effective.

Making impactful presentations has never been easier than with JVC's new AV-P950 digital presenter. Now you can scan the audience or a display wall with the AV-P950's rotating camera head. Or, easily capture a three-dimensional object from any angle with the AV-P950's 5-position arm with a panning camera head. Never fumble with lenses again. JVC's unique flip-type close-up lens lets presenters switch between normal shots and close-ups without changing lenses and the camera/PC input selector enables switching between a camera and PC input from a remote location. On-screen display allows fine adjustment of picture characteristics such as white balance, background color options and more -- all remotely operable. Direct access control keys make it easy for beginners to use this presenter. Commonly used functions are arranged on the right, while advanced functions for more experienced users are arranged on the left. Color coding also enhances operability. A full, flat 35 x 26 cm stage lets users move materials around without obstacles and permits slide positions to be set easily. Side- lights (left and right) illuminate objects and define materials.
