BID SPECIFICATIONS

The outdoor dome camera housing shall be a JVC HWMVNC-6 & HPMVNC-6 or equivalent. The housing shall be designed for the VNC655U, VNC625U and TKC-625U cameras. The HWMVNC-6 should come standard with an integrated wall mount. The HPMVNC-6 will come standard with a pendant mount coupling, 1 ½” npt threads. The both products shall also be equipped with 24 VAC input blowers and thermostatically controlled heaters. The products housing shall be manufactured from a high-impact engineered plastic, UV protected, with a UL flame rating of 94V0. The dome shall be made of an injection molded, optically clear, polycarbonate material. The dome shall be held in place with minimum of (3) fasteners, and a safety cable shall be provided to hold the dome while servicing. Access to the enclosure shall be from below with (3) captive fasteners used to press the dome against a sealing O-ring. A twist-off feature shall allow for the final removal of the dome. All incoming wires will enter through the back of the wall mount and run up into the housing. An access door located at the bottom of the wall mount will allow for easy hook up of all incoming wire connections. On pendant models, the wiring will enter through the top of the housing. The engineered plastic top, with its reflective white paint, insulates internal equipment.

The blower shall draw 1.4W continuous power. The 27W heater shall turn on at 40°F and turn off at 60°F. The housing shall support a temperature range of -30° to 120°F.
