JVC INTRODUCES KY-320BU THREE-TUBE COLOR PRODUCTION CAMERA

Wayne, NJ...JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY has introduced the KY-320BU color production camera that utilizes three, 2/3-in. diode gun Plumbicon tubes for outstanding stability.

The Plumbicon tubes as well as the camera's precision electronics and electromagnetic focusing and deflection produce high-resolution and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. Separate horizontal and vertical pin and trapezoidal distortion-correction circuits improve registration accuracy and horizontal resolution is 650 lines.

The camera's synchronizing system conforms to RS170A. The camera consumes 1.45 A, and contains a new masking circuit that improves color rendition. The camera weighs only 9 lb. Sensitivity is f4.5 at 2000 lux, signal-to-noise ratio is 57 dB, and minimum illumination at f1.7 is 38 lux.

The KY-320BU is supported by a wide variety of standard features, including a tripod base, chest rest, microphone holder, registration pattern, shoulder strap, extension board, board extractor, dust cover, and bias lamp.

Optional accessories include the VF-550U black-and-white, 5.5-in studio viewfinder, the RS-500U remote control, the RS-T900U triax unit, and the KA-3U(A) component VCR adapter that provides the proper outputs for MII and Betacam VCRs.
