JVC CREATES THE DV TO D-9 BRIDGE
Plug-in Card For D-9 Products to be Showcased at NAB

WAYNE, NJ (February 4, 2002) - JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY today introduced a plug-in card for its D-9 products, the SA-DV60U, allowing D-9 IEEE connectivity to its professional DV and a host of other compliant devices including non-linear editing systems by a wide range of manufacturers.

The SA-DV60U is an optional interface card that allows digital transfers from 25Mbps DV compression to D-9 and vice versa. The accessory is ideal for users who desire to digitally interface a 50Mbps D-9 video tape recorder with 25 Mbps DV devices, allowing a D-9 VTR to be controlled by the NLE system via a DV interface. The SA-DV60U eliminates signal deterioration by eliminating the digital/analog conversion process.
