JVC OFFERS NEW, AFFORDABLE EDITING CONTROLLER
                     AS PART OF EDIT-DESK SYSTEM

LAS VEGAS (NAB, March 21-24, 1994) -- Bridging the gap between
advanced broadcast standard remote editors and inefficient consumer
systems, JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY introduced the new RM-
G800U editing controller, one of the most powerful, affordable
editing controllers in its category.
The RM-G800 is compatible with the BR-S800U editing recorder
and the BR-S500U source VCR, completing the JVC Edit-Desk System.
With the Edit-Desk, fast and precise professional editing will be
available for the first time in a system this affordable.
The easy-to-use RM-G800 is especially ideal for videographers
in the photography, educational and industrial fields. It offers a
full range of selectable editing functions, including a jog/shuttle
dial, timecode-referenced editing capability and built-in JVC
original control bus for direct interface with similarly equipped
JVC recorders and players. The RM-G800 also features dual GPI ports
for control of external equipment, such as special effects and
character generators and audio mixers.
When connected with the BR-S800 editing recorder and the BR-
S500 source VCR, the RM-G800 provides a smooth upgrade path for
professional video editors, permitting easy system expansion.
"Equipped with everything you need for high-quality, precise
editing results and boasting a simple, "no-frills" design, the RM-
G800 is the right choice for beginners and experienced pros alike,"
said Dave Walton, marketing manager for JVC.
