JVC INTRODUCES NEW, CCD COLOR CAMERA WITH SEPARATE_CAMERA_CONTROL_UNIT_FOR_CCTV_APPLICATIONS

On August 26-28, 1986, at New York ISC Show booth 681, Jacob

Javits Convention Center, JVC COMPANY OF AMERICA will introduce

closed circuit camera Model TK-850 with state-of-the-art charged

couple devices (CCD) for a wide range of closed circuit television

(CCTV) applications vehicles.

"Power consumption for the Model TK-850 is a low 5.0

watts, and it's highly resistant to shock and vibration while

being compact, unobtrusive, and virtually maintainance-free,"

says Don Thorkelson, JVC's CCTV Sales Manager.

One_Cable_Camera_Control_Unit

The TK-850 has 12VDC power input provided by a separate

power supply, the TK-U850U camera control unit (CCU). This

allows the TK-850 to be installed up to 980 feet (300m) away

with absolutely no loss of picture quality.

The TK-U850U also provides white balance adjustment for

the TK-850.

Built-In_Genlocking

With the TK-850, genlock circuitry is built into the

separate CCU, the TK-U850U. Special circuitry with H phase and SC

phase adjustment maintain stable pictures while switching or

mixing with other signals locked to the same source.

Maintainance-Free_Operation

Featuring a small, solid state CCD composed of hundreds

of thousands of circuits that convert light energy into electrical

energy, TK-850 provides picture quality that is clear and

detailed, with no trails, color lag or burn, even under extremely

intense light.

Because its CCD will not drift out of focus, The TK-850

has an extremely long service life. Geometric distortion is

eliminated, and the camera is capable of producing quality

pictures in a magnetic field. Over 250,000 individual pixels

(510h x 492v) provide 330 horizontal line resolution with a

S/N ratio of 45dB.

The BR-9000 time lapse recorder is optionally available to

complement TK-850's full range of surveillance capabilities.

Easy_Installation

Model TK-850 features both top and bottom mounting movable

base plates, making it easy to install on either walls or

ceilings.

Auto iris lens connectors allow installation of auto

iris lenses to assure proper light adjustment.

The TK-850 will be demonstrated at New York ISC Show

booth 681, Jacob Javits Convention Center, August 26-28, 1986.
