Usability

figure:Reduce staff and labor needs with remote monitoring

With IP cameras, it doesn't matter how far away you are from the scene as long as you are in a networked environment. Images from cameras located at different points can be monitored together from a distant location.
Until now, this type of system function has been full of technical obstacles by analog camera system, making remote monitoring of wide-ranging and multiple places problematic, so that each place has typically been individually monitored. Now, using IP camera system, remote monitoring is possible, making monitoring more efficient and opening the way to reduced staff overhead.

IP cameras offer a multicasting function so that multiple users can share a single camera. Pictures can now be used in new applications that reinforce monitoring work, make secondary use of pictures and so on.

IP cameras offering bi-directional exchange of audio data allow staff in the monitoring room to call sites directly to check a situation or challenge suspicious behavior, which makes monitoring work more effective. In addition, since on-site audio and image data can be observed together in the monitoring room, monitoring is more accurate and precise. (This function is available in JVC camera model VN-V26.)
