- How do I set up Repeat Playback?
Can I switch on/off Blue Background during playback?
- Yes, you can turn the blue background on and off through the On Screen Display so that when a non-recorded area is played, the screen switches to blue.
How do I set up Repeat Playback?
- From the On screen Display, select "RETURN POINT" and select "repeat playback condition, Tape End, or Recording End." Then, hold down the PLAY button for at least 5 seconds.
Can I set up a starting point for Repeat Playback?
- The tape will automatically rewind to the beginning of the tape to begin replay. Setting a specific starting point for repeat playback is not possible on this unit.
How does REC LINK operate?
- REC LINK works to record or stop; it judges the video signal coming into the SR-VS10U.
What is the purpose of the remote control IN/OUT terminal?
- The IN/OUT terminal works for repeat recording / playback system. For example, if the first deck is connected to the second deck via this terminal, the second deck will start to record / playback the recorded image automatically as soon as the first deck finishes its operation.
Can I record date and time information on the tape?
- Yes, Year/Month/Date and Hour/Minute/Second are recordable.
I select IMAGE END, but the VCR does not detect it.
- If control pulse is recorded (in this case counter display is working), the VCR does not detect it.
Can SERIES PLAYBACK begin at a specified point?
- No. However, Series Recording / Playback is available at the point of tape end or recorded image end.
Can I control the power ON/OFF via external switch or timer?
- When the power plug is removed from the VCR with the main power ON, the VCR main power returns to the ON position after power plug is inserted into AC outlet again.
Will SERIES PLAYBACK work if the power plug is removed during operation?
- Yes.
