The new GD-V4211PCE is an ultra-slim 42-inch, high-contrast, super bright plasma display panel offering distortion-free video reproduction. This space-saving unit measures only 3.5 inches thick (89 mm) and delivers images in either its native 16:9 widescreen or traditional 4:3 aspect ratio.

Superior Thin-Panel Delivers Sharp, Color-Rich Images

Relying on JVC’s legendary engineering, the next-generation GD-V4211PCE uses a full 24-bit RGB driver to deliver extraordinary picture quality without burn-in or irritating artifacts. Incorporating a 700:1 contrast ratio, the monitor presents an especially sharp, crisp picture for virtually any video and computer application. Special features like JVC’s Pixel Shift/White Background and Refresh/Color Reverse Modes virtually eliminate image burn-in and ensure a long-life monitor. Standard video signals are displayed in a non-interlaced mode to eliminate flicker and provide super clarity. The GD-V4211PCE’s totally flat screen produces no distortion or unevenness in pictures at the corners and edges. Continuous tone and vibrant color are achieved through the use of 256 "grayscale" levels each for red, green and blue color resulting in a display total of 16.77 million different colors. And, because the plasma display panel does not use an electron beam like CRT displays, it offers distortion-free pictures even in environments surrounded by massive electromagnetic fields.

Choose between two tabletop stands units, (available in an economy model and a full-featured model) to set the plasma monitor at just the right height and wall distance to suit your personal taste! The stand eliminates the need to puncture beautiful walls or cabinetry with nails or brackets, and provides flexibility for customers who like to rearrange things now and then! For a modern look, JVC offers an angled ceiling suspension unit that lets you hang the monitor from high above. Or, achieve picture-perfect display with one of JVC’s two wall mounting units to either flush-mount the plasma monitor like a piece of artwork, or angle it to fit into the corners of your home or office.

JVC’s GD-V4211PCE plasma display panel features built-in RGB input for direct computer hook-ups, so you can present multimedia presentations, as well. It supports up to XGA (1024 x 768) PC input resolution. It can accept any standard television signal, including NTSC, PAL and SECAM, and all the popular DTV signals, including 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i. The unit also offers direct support for W-VHS (1035i).

The GD-V4211PCE has an onscreen menu for easy operation, and its I/O connections face down/out for easy access. The plasma display panel can be controlled by an infrared wireless remote control and wired control. It also features a built-in RS-232C connection for computer control.

The GD-V4211PCE is currently available with a Suggested List Price of $9,995.
