JVC PREVIEWS NEW DIGITAL EFFECTS GENERATOR

Atlanta, GA (NAB 1990)...JVC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS COMPANY 
previewed a prototype high end Y/C switcher and digital effects 
generator at NAB 1990. The KM-D600U is a new PROFESSIONAL S 
peripheral product which continues to expand JVC's S-VHS line of 
product. 

The KM-D600U digital effects generator accepts only Y/C inputs and 
incorporates two independent TBCs for incoming signals, making it 
an ideal peripheral for S-VHS editing systems. 

The KM-D600U provides paint, mosaic, strobe, freeze, slide, 
compression, and negative/positive reversal effects. The KM-D600U 
can be controlled from an editing controller with a GPI port. 

JVC demonstrated the KM-D600U prototype at NAB and will announce 
the product's price and availability at a later date.
