SENTRY NVR™ is a digital video recording solution where
the cameras are connected to an IP network, eliminating numerous
coaxial cable runs. Video streams delivered by local or remote
network cameras or video servers are recorded at predefined rates
by a scheduling agent or upon detection of motion. Live images
and recorded archives are viewable from any PC connected to the
local network or the Internet. The easy to use, pre-installed
software can be scaled to view and record from any number of camera
feeds. The Client / Server architecture allows recording of images
to any combination of local or network attached storage drives,
so the archival capabilities are limitless. Software based motion
detection can be configured to decrease the amount of storage
needed.

 Milestone Systems is an independent software company specializing in video surveillance and security. Milestone's Surveillance XXV product is developed especially for IP based network cameras such as the JVC V.NETWORKS and supports also IP video server for integration with analogue video cameras.
