D-9 VTRs are
controlled via an RS-422 interface compatible with most existing systems.
Component and composite analog signal inputs and outputs are standard
on all models as well as optional digital video and audio interfaces.
Y/C I/O is available on all 2CH models.
In addition,
the D-9 family includes one model (BR-D51) that offers S-VHS playback
capability, giving current S-VHS users a practical and cost-effective
upgrade path to extend the life of their present tape library.
