function
Previously
available on high-priced digital
tape recorders, the pre-read
function allows multi-level
layering and A/B style editing
using only two VTRs and a single
ME. As this function works with
both analog and digital inputs
and outputs, you can step up
to the advantages of digital
editing simply by adding a single
D-9 VTR to an existing suite.
Because it does not require
a second "B Roll" VTR, interformat
editing is really practical
with D-9.
