The Group Telenorba, established since 1976, with its head quarters located in Conversano (Bari) manages 14 companies with 350 collaborators between employees and freelance professionals.

The group owns two Television Stations, Telenorba "first local broadcasting company" with the highest audience (6 millions spectators -- Data Auditel), recognized and awarded nationally and internationally for the high quality and contents of its programs and Teledue Local TV.

Both have chosen for their several broadcasting and post-production studios D-9 from JVC.

Telenorba, more followed by the spectators in the south of Italy, has as a power point, apart from the headquarters, a studio located in the capital (Rome -- Montecitorio) in charge of producing a program with the latest political tidings jointly with the main office in Conversano, which gives special attention to the problematic of the south.

Presently, they are offering 24 hours of daily broadcasting with 5 TV news programs, more than 3 hours of information and political debates, as well as entertainment and sports.

One of the latest initiatives accomplished by the Telenorba Group is a TV network in Albania (Tirana), in the local language. The Telenorba project estimates the acquisition of 100 JVC D-9 units in a period of time of 12 to 15 months.

After the first phase of the project, 5 editing suites BR-D350, 4 recorders BR-D700, 3 editing recorders BR-D85E with pre-read function, 1 editing recorder BR-D80E, 1 digital camcorder DY-750E, 1 digital camcorder DY-90E, 1 digital processing camera KY-D29E with a BR-D40E dockable recorder, 2 editing non-linear systems MW-S1000E and 4 digital processing cameras KY-D29E studio configuration, are already in use.

"The decisive factors in the selection of D-9 were the outstanding price/performance ratio, the low maintenance cost of the equipment, the reliance on the systems and the convenient and lower operational costs compare to the analog equipment", affirmed Dino D'Alessandro Technical Director of Telenorba.

D-9 of JVC was the "perfect choice".
